Today as I left school I heard a bird sing. I wish I recognized the bird, but it
lifted my spirits. After a long February, spring is on the way. As I drove home I saw
some geese, flying north. They may have
been here in Michigan all winter but I choose to believe they were flying from
the south because they know spring will be here soon. Of course the true sign of spring is when the
snow birds are back in church. Those
older folks really know how to time their arrival to miss the cold and snow.
There was something in the air here, today, that has me convinced that spring is near! Love your true sign of spring - "snow birds are back in church."
ReplyDeleteWe're still looking for those snow birds to return to our church, too. Even though there is snow still on the ground, I suspect spring is coming and will be here before we know it.
ReplyDeleteIt cracked me up your comment about snow birds. As I walked into the restaurant tonight the birds were chirping away. It was a welcome sound.
