A Slight Delay


“Ok, teeth are clean, let’s get you in bed.”
“I’m firsty.”
“Here’s your water.”
“I don’t want bafroom water.”
“Water’s water, drink it.”
Sigh.   “I’m not water  ‘firsty.”
 “Goodnight.”

    I LOVE conversations with children. I try to write as many of them down as I can. You think you'll remember them but then life happens...
